Statement

My sculptures and installations are in some way a response to a specific location, space, or form. My surroundings influence my work and direction the work takes. Whether my surroundings means a location I'm physically involved with or in relationship to a larger geographic location.

My work takes many forms and explores a variety of materials. Through the development of systems in which to work, I create a dialog with materials that allows myself as well as the material to have a voice in the creation of my work.
